According to reports, Mrs. Astira Akolo Ahmed Success reportedly attacked Monday morning about 9 a.m. along the Lafia-Shendam road as she was en route to Assakio market. It has been claimed that gunmen in the state have shot and killed the wife of the previous local government chairman of Nasarawa.
In Lafia, our reporter learned that Mrs. Success was sitting in the car’s passenger seat when shooters started fire, allegedly aiming for the driver when a direct bullet struck her.
She had 2 children and was a well-known businesswoman when she passed away. Her remains has been placed to a mortuary in the interim.
